Interested in having fun, being competitive, while getting into shape?
J & S Machine Works will be participating in the Santa Monica Classic 10k (about 6 miles) on September 13, 2015. That is plenty of time to start running and getting into shape! There will be a $150.00 prize for the fastest time in each age category:
The best part is the company will sponsor the $50.00 registration fee. That’s right. If you show up and run the race, we will pay for your fee! However, if you sign up and do not show up for the race, you will have to pay for your own fee. Also of interest, no one in the age range of 46+ has signed up. That means if you're at least 46 years old and you participate in the race, you will win $150 automatically. No contest!
The sign up deadline is July 22, 2015.
If you are 100% in this, please sign up at the HR office!
*Please keep in mind this is an invitation open only to J & S Machine Works employees. Your family and friends are more than welcome to register themselves or come and congratulate you at the finish line. =)
Hey guys! We've updated our PTO (Paid Time Off) calculator to display the actual hours of vacation you have accrued on your paycheck stub. Look for it on your next paycheck stub for the 4/9/2015 pay period.
Please remember, the maximum amount of PTO you can accrue is 160 hours. Some of you workaholics REALLY need to take that vacation. Go on! Get some sunshine!
